This article takes the research object of calculus - functions as the starting point, sorts out the manifestation of composite functions in various operation stages of calculus, summarizes the diversity of function forms, proposes teaching thoughts and suggestions for some key and difficult contents, and demonstrates the specific application of functions in calculus through examples.
