Abstract

The global rise in sedentary lifestyles among adolescents, primarily due to insufficient physical activity, presents a significant public health challenge. In China, physical inactivity is prevalent among school-aged children, with concerns over academic scheduling contributing to a decline in physical education programs. Research suggests that engaging in physical activity enhances cognitive function without compromising academic performance. This study investigates the relationship between the sports mindset and the academic and athletic performance of volleyball players, highlighting the impact of psychological factors such as resilience, focus, and confidence. Exploring these dynamics, the research aims to propose practical strategies to enhance both the athletic experience and academic achievement, ultimately supporting the holistic development of student-athletes.
