A Review of Adolescent Emotion Regulation Ability

Emotion regulation plays an important role in adolescents' mental health and social adaptation. This review focuses on the classification of emotion regulation strategies, influencing factors, evaluation methods, development mechanism of emotion regulation ability and its relationship with non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI). The purpose of this paper is to comprehensively understand the current research status of adolescent Emotion regulation ability, and make suggestions for future research direction.
