Abstract

This study explores the application and interactivity of digital modeling and 3D printing technologies in art creation. It first outlines the definition, development, and significance of digital modeling art in contemporary art. It then analyzes the background of 3D printing technology and its diverse applications in the art field, particularly its combination with biomimicry, which allows for new artistic expressions by imitating natural structures and forms.The research finds that the interactivity of digital modeling and 3D printing not only broadens artists' creative horizons but also enhances the interactivity of artworks, providing new ways for audiences to experience them. The interactivity of the artworks allows audiences to participate in and influence the art in new ways, breaking the traditional static viewing mode.
