Abstract

Self-efficacy is a pivotal psychological factor that shapes an individual's actions and motivations, significantly influencing the learning journey of middle school students. By examining the current state of self-efficacy and learning motivation among adolescents, this paper, drawing on practical teaching insights, explores their interplay. Evidence suggests that students with robust self-efficacy tend to exhibit stronger learning motivation and resilience, whereas those with lower self-efficacy are more likely to shy away from academic challenges. Hence, bolstering students' self-efficacy is critical for enhancing their learning drive. The paper proposes strategies such as achievement feedback, teacher support, and peer interaction to improve self-efficacy among middle school students.
