Research on the Educational Functions of English Associations in Colleges and Universities

English association is an important part of associations in colleges and universities. The development of English association activities effectively extends the classroom teaching of English, which can stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning. This paper takes University A in Anhui Province as an example, analyzes the activity forms and educational functions of English associations in this university, and puts forward feasible countermeasures suggestions, so that English associations in colleges and universities could give full play to serve students and adapt to the needs of the society.
