Abstract

The development of science, technology, and social progress has made digital development a new driving force for social development. National policies have driven the development of the digital economy and enterprise digital transformation. This paper examines the impact of enterprise digital transformation on the quality of innovation b using an Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) model and fixed effect model. The sample used includes A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2011 to 2021. The findings indicate that enterprise digital transformation can improve the quality of innovation in enterprises, and the results pass a series of robustness tests. This research analyzes the effect of digital transformation on the quality of innovation and its mechanisms at the level of listed companies. The analysis enriches the theory of enterprise digital transformation in innovation quality and provides research support for the high-quality development of enterprises.
