Abstract

This paper provides a snapshot and structural dive into China’s live commerce industry and economy, specifically focused on the key player platform, Douyin live commerce’s development, operational structure, and business overview. In the second half of the article, this article will explain why the live streaming market in the US is growing slower than in China, considering the differences in consumer habits, market environment, and culture. Finally, this paper will give some adjustment suggestions for potential live-streaming developers.
