Analysis The Reasons for The Drop in Violence at The Qatar Football Cup

Abstract

With the slow decline of the epidemic's influence on people's lives, numerous international sporting events eventually recommenced. Within this particular framework, the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup has progressively captured the attention of the general public. This event serves as both a recreational activity and a commemoration of liberty, athletics, and well-being. This research focuses on the examination of the fan violence community during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with a particular emphasis on dysfunctional fans. This report uses event review and bibliometrics as its research approach. An extensive body of existing research literature was utilized to investigate the factors contributing to the decline in fan violence during the Qatar World Cup. In the end, it was determined that the issue was connected to the British government's prohibition of passports and the implementation of widespread surveillance. Nevertheless, due to the temporal gap of one year after the occurrence and the nascent stage of the research, the derived results lack reliability.
