Quantitative finance techniques are techniques for analysing, modelling and trading financial market data using mathematical, statistical and computer-based tools. In the field of personal investment, quantitative finance techniques are widely used, including quantitative investment, quantitative risk management and quantitative asset pricing. This paper will introduce the background, basic concepts, principles and methods of quantitative finance techniques, and illustrate their advantages and challenges in the field of personal investment with concrete examples.
