With the continuous development of science and technology, the digital era has come, which has had a profound impact on various fields. Ethnic music, as an important part of China's traditional culture, is also facing the challenges and opportunities of the digital era. This paper mainly discusses the development status quo, influence, challenges and opportunities of folk music in the digital era, with a view to providing certain reference for the inheritance and development of folk music in China.
