This essay conducts an analysis of CSIs and the translation strategies for them in Kazuo Ishiguro’s (2018) Never Let Me Go. A qualitative method was employed as all the CSIs that were rendered in the original version of Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro were found, as were the frequencies of translation strategies used in its Chinese translation. The results revealed that preservation had the highest percentage and transformation the lowest.
