Neoclassical art style is an important genre in the history of European art. It combines the solemnity of classical art with the passion of modern aesthetics to form a unique artistic style. This article aims to explore its status and influence in the history of art through in-depth analysis of the origin, development and artistic characteristics of neoclassical art style. The article first introduces the formation background of neoclassical style, then analyzes its artistic characteristics from the aspects of form, color, composition, etc., and shows the artistic charm of neoclassical style through the analysis of specific works. Finally, the article evaluates and looks forward to the contribution of neoclassical style and its impact on modern art.
