Abstract

Under the impact of the epidemic in the past two years, the economic situation in various industries has been not optimistic. More and more members of the engineering community have begun to adhere to the principle of economic supremacy and utilitarianism, ignoring the most basic professional ethics. This has led to an increasing number of substandard products on the market, and the quality of some engineering products is worrying. Many large engineering projects have also suffered accidents as a result. Perhaps this is the last resort to "supporting the family" during the epidemic. With the end of the epidemic and the recovery of the economy, how to effectively integrate the professional ethics of engineers with the current social reality has become a problem that needs to be considered. In this situation, it is urgent to cultivate the professional ethics and ethical concepts of engineers guided by the spirit of craftsmanship.
