This study investigates the influence of paternalistic leadership style on employee performance. Paternalistic leadership, characterized by care and support from leaders, contrasts traditional command-based management approaches. Through literature review and theoretical analysis, this research systematically explores the definition, characteristics, and comparison of paternalistic leadership style with other leadership styles. The theoretical analysis focuses on how paternalistic leadership enhances employee performance by affecting motivation, learning and development, organizational culture, and employee satisfaction. Further validated through practical case studies, this paper confirms the positive impact of paternalistic leadership style on employee performance in organizational settings. Finally, the study discusses theoretical contributions, practical implications, and future research directions.
