Abstract

Study explores social support-well-being interplay, assessing marital status's moderation. 1000 adults in diverse marital states surveyed via questionnaires. Scales measured social support & well-being. Analysis showed strong positive link, with marriage amplifying the benefit. Marital status is a key mediator. In contrast, the association was weaker among unmarried, divorced or widowed individuals. This suggests that marital status may further strengthen the positive effect of social support on well-being by consolidating emotional support and enhancing life security perception.
