This paper discusses the current situation, problems and development strategies of Chinese language education in the Philippines. With the deepening of Sino-Philippines economic and trade relations, Chinese language education has gradually become an important language learning field in the Philippines, but it faces problems such as teacher shortage, insufficient localization of teaching materials and lagging policy support. This paper first analyzes the social background of Chinese language education and points out its important role in Philippine culture and economy; secondly, it analyzes the dilemma of insufficient number of teachers and disconnection of teaching materials; finally, it proposes to promote the sustainable development of Chinese language education through strategies such as government-society cooperation, international resource sharing and technological innovation. Research shows that Chinese language education has great development potential in the Philippines. Through multi-party collaboration and innovation, it can promote cultural and economic exchanges between China and the Philippines and enhance the global competitiveness of Philippine education.
