Research on Migrant Left-behind Children Abroad and Implications for China

Left-behind children are not a unique social phenomenon in China, there are also a large number of left-behind children in other developing countries. The study on left-behind children of foreign immigrants reveals the challenges that left-behind children face in family affection, education, psychological and social adaptation, and also explores the ways to solve these problems. These studies have important implications for China.
