Research on the Adaptive Reform of Teaching Methods for Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Higher Vocational Education in the Context of Diversified Student Populations

Abstract

With the implementation of the policy of recruiting millions of students to higher vocational colleges, China's higher vocational education has entered an era of diversified student sources, and traditional teaching methods can no longer meet the learning needs of students at different levels. Taking the theoretical course of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges as an example, this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the current situation and challenges of the theoretical course of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges against the background of diversified student sources through multidimensional questionnaire surveys and data analysis. In order to adapt to the tendency of diversified student sources, this paper proposes a strategy for adapting the teaching methods of ideological and political theory courses in higher vocational colleges, namely the "two divisions, two rings and six steps" "layered help learning" reform, which can effectively adapt to the current diversified student background, and also help improve the relevance and effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses, and promote the comprehensive development of students. It not only provides a theoretical basis and practical guidance for the teaching reform of ideological and political theory courses in higher vocational colleges, but also opens up new perspectives and ideas for research in related fields.
