Study on Human Factors and Micro-spatial Behavior in New Urbanism

This study aims to comprehensively explore, from an interdisciplinary perspective, how human factors such as physiological, psychological, cultural, and social aspects influence micro-spatial behavior under the concept of New Urbanism. The results indicate that these factors not only shape micro-spatial behavior within the New Urbanist environment but are also influenced by the principles of New Urbanism. These principles include walkability, mixed-use diversity, the importance of public spaces, and human-centric architecture, which further enhance the impact of human factors. Furthermore, the research emphasizes that integrating human factors into urban design can create more inclusive, dynamic, and appealing urban spaces, thereby effectively improving the quality of urban life.
