This study focuses on the innovation and development of mass sports education for people with disabilities, and explores the construction of sports education models from the perspective of integration of the disabled and the able-bodied. Sports activities for people with disabilities not only help to improve their physical fitness, mental health and social adaptability, but also enhance their sense of social participation and belonging, thereby improving their overall quality of life. However, the current sports education for people with disabilities still faces many challenges, such as insufficient facilities, shortage of educational resources, and insufficient social cognition. To this end, this study proposes the construction principles of a sports education model with fairness, integration, personalization and sustainability as the core from multiple perspectives, and explores the specific implementation path of the innovative education model. By promoting the integration of people with disabilities and able-bodied people, the innovative education model aims to increase the participation of people with disabilities in sports, enhance their sense of social identity, and provide theoretical support and practical guidance for promoting the social integration and physical and mental health of people with disabilities.
