This article explores the integration and innovation of traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics in calligraphy education. By analyzing the relationship between traditional techniques and contemporary aesthetics, it underscores the importance of integrating and innovating. In terms of elevating aesthetic concepts, educators can guide students to deeply understand the essence of traditional works, incorporating personal emotions and thoughts. Regarding the innovative application of techniques, traditional methods are not rigid; they can be integrated with modern compositional ideas to develop unique artistic styles. Diverse creative tasks and the appreciation of masterpieces by renowned artists serve as pathways to promote this integration, fostering students' creative thinking and aesthetic perspectives. Under guidance, students can combine tradition with innovation by imitating the works of masters.
