Supported by technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence, smart sports provides a new path to solve the problems of traditional school sports through mechanisms including technological empowerment of teaching scenarios, driving the transformation of teaching models, and promoting ecological collaboration. This paper sorts out the concept and evolution of smart sports, analyzes the operational mechanism of their coupled development, deconstructs practical dilemmas such as unbalanced infrastructure, insufficient technological integration, digital literacy gaps, lack of data governance, and absence of standard systems, and proposes implementation paths from five dimensions: resource allocation, teaching integration, literacy improvement, data governance, and standard construction. It aims to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the intelligent upgrading of school sports.
