Abstract

This case study analyzed the phonetic difficulties encountered by a French as a Foreign Language (FFL) learner at the intermediate level, with a particular focus on the articulatory and perceptual aspects of his production. This study also analyzed his errors by using the Verbo-Tonal Method. Through a detailed analysis of recorded speech samples, this study examined his pronunciation errors in both consonant and vowel production, using the framework of the Articulatory Perspective, the Verbo-Tonal Method and the Perceptual Perspective.
