Abstract

This paper explores feasible short-term memory training strategies for interpreters. It analyzes memory barriers arising from instant information reception and sorts targeted drills including chunking, shadowing and logic retelling. Combined with consecutive and simultaneous interpreting practices, it verifies how these methods boost information storage and instant extraction, offering operable references to improve interpreters’ on-site memorization efficiency.
