Abstract

There are more than 80 million Hakka people in the world, but in the history of Hakka studies in the past two centuries, it is rare for scholars to specialize in "Hakka women's groups". Hakka women have been persecuted to varying degrees since ancient times, all because of the deep-rooted concept of sexism in the Hakka area. This paper explores the current situation of sexism in Hakka area in China and proposes some solutions.
