Abstract

Social Media, such as Instagram and Tiktok, are increasingly becoming more and more popular since it helps people build and maintain interpersonal relationships. Based on its huge popularity, more marketers are using social media as their selling channels or cooperating with social media influencers to promote their products. The present study sought to analyze whether the customers think social media facilitate their decision and stimulate their desire to purchase, their preferences between salespeople and social media influencers and what kind of concrete benefits are brought by using social media during market products. This paper presents successful examples of marketers using social media to sell their products. It is also conducted as an online survey via Amazon Turk. All participants will be asked to share their thoughts and complete the survey.
