Dual listing, Tencent, market value.Abstract
With the vigorous development of the Internet industry, the fierce competition among many Internet companies is constantly promoting the innovation and progress of the industry. This competition has given birth to novel models and sales systems, promoting the rapid development of the whole industry. In this context, Tencent, with its excellent performance and unique strategic vision, has successfully stood out and become a leader in the Chinese Internet industry. With the gradual relaxation of the Chinese government's policy on foreign investment entering the domestic capital market, Tencent was able to list in both China and the United States, which not only brought huge development opportunities for Tencent itself, but also marked the formal integration of China's Internet industry into the tide of international competition. The dual listing has brought Tencent a stable foundation for the Chinese market, and attracted global capital and investment, greatly improving the company's market liquidity and international recognition. This important milestone not only lays a solid foundation for Tencent's future development, but also opens a door to the world for China's Internet industry. Through the dual listing, Tencent can not only expand its business and optimize the allocation of resources in the global scope, but also better participate in international competition and promote the rise of China's Internet industry on the global stage.
