Research on the Effects of Acid Rain and Improvement Measures

Abstract

With the continuous development of industrial production, transportation and people's life all over the world, acid rain has become one of the major problems that seriously threaten the world environment. In this paper, the causes of acid rain, the effects of acid rain and the measures to control acid rain are studied. The influencing factors and forming process of acid rain were further expounded. Acid rain also affects buildings, animals, plants and humans to varying degrees - acid rain can cause different degrees of corrosion to buildings; Affecting the reproductive system of aquatic plants and causing egg defects in birds; It affects plant structure, physiological function and living environment. Therefore, in order to deal with acid rain, countries have implemented corresponding measures. This paper mainly introduces the Acid Rain Program (ARP) of the United States and the tax policy of Sweden. The treatment of acid rain is definitely not a simple thing, and people need to further explore more efficient and concise methods in the future. The purpose of this study is to clarify the serious impact of acid rain on society, economy and human life, and to arouse people's attention to acid rain and environmental protection.
