Research and application on optimization of sealed water return system of feed pump

The importance of sealed water return system of feed pump to the safety and economy of power plant is analyzed. This paper studies the common sealed water supply way of feed pump, and three main sealed water return system way and working principle, and analyzes their respective advantages and disadvantages. The calculation methods of water seal height of single stage and multistage water seal are studied. A design scheme of water tank and water seal is proposed, which enhances the adaptability of water seal device and optimizes the system.
