Today more and more people are willing to choose New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) as travel tools. The automotive industry has witnessed a significant transformation over the past few decades, driven by the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, combat climate change, and enhance energy efficiency. This article explores the relationship between environmental governance and NEVs, which encompass a range of technologies, including electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), and fuel cell vehicles (FCVs). This paper review explores the state of research and development in the field of NEVs, highlighting key advancements, challenges, and future prospects.
