Abstract

The purpose of this review is to highlight recent advancements in autonomous vehicles (AVs) and related infrastructure, primarily from artificial intelligence (AI), which makes AVs more appealing to consumers. It is critically analyzed and reviewed how AI can benefit AVs, structure of AVs, and automotive innovation techniques. The paper provides a quick reference for researchers interested in understanding the use of AI in AV research.
