Abstract

The two most common causes of immobility that cause significant problems in everyday life are SCI and stroke. Recent research suggests that robotic exoskeletons may be able to help patients regain their motor function. This paper will evaluate existing exoskeleton suits, compare their functionality, and analyse their benefits and drawbacks compared to conventional rehabilitation equipment. It will also discuss the challenges it is encountering. It is discovered that the exoskeleton suit still requires more useable applications and precise design to meet clinical and domestic use.
