Moral education is the fundamental task of education, and ideological and political course is the key course to implement this task. However, it is not enough to rely on a single course, so some universities in Shanghai put forward the concept of ideological and political course. On the basis of adhering to the traditional ideological and political courses as the core, ideological and political education is infiltrated into other courses, so as to realize the whole course and all-round education. At present, colleges and universities carry out ideological and political curriculum, and have achieved some results, but there are also some problems in the implementation process. Colleges and universities need to sort out and analyze the problems and work out a plan to break through the dilemma, so as to truly realize the educational function of ideological and political curriculum.
