Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the interactive translation teaching model and its usage. The constructivist learning theory emphasizes that learners construct knowledge models and strategies through active participation and collaboration in social and cultural interactions. In this study, scale surveys and interviews were used to examine the meaning and use of the Interactive Translation Teaching Model (ITTM) among the college students. Scale surveys were used to assess students' attitudes towards the interactive teaching model and the degree of its usage, while interviews were used to explore students' perception of related teaching models. It is found in this study that the interactive translation teaching model plays an important role in improving college students' English translation competence, and students show positive attitudes towards this student-centered teaching method, which emphasizes interaction and collaboration, and believe that it helps to improve translation skills and stimulate interest in English translation learning. In addition, the study points out that teachers should flexibly combine the traditional and modern teaching methods to meet students' individual learning needs, thus enhance the teaching effects of English translation competence.
