With the development of media technology and the rise of visual culture, discourse communication increasingly relies on the coordinated expression of multiple semiotic resources. As a result, multimodal discourse analysis has emerged as a significant and expanding field in linguistics. This study investigates the documentary China Bouquet within a multimodal discourse analysis framework, focusing specifically on how interpersonal relationships and interactive meanings are constructed through multimodal resources. Drawing on Systemic Functional Grammar and visual grammar theory, the study analyzes how visual and linguistic modes collaborate to express attitudes, emotions, and stances, thereby achieving interactive meaning. Representative segments from the documentary are selected for analysis to uncover the realization of cultural dissemination and audience engagement.
