Abstract

Chinese ancient-style music has shown a rising trend in recent years. It has gradually formed a new and independent music category from the initial niche and scattered existence. In view of this cultural phenomenon, this paper explores the close relationship between ancient-style music and Chinese traditional culture from the perspective of Chinese and Western cultural comparison. At the same time, from the perspective of cultural comparison between China and foreign countries, this paper analyzes and explores the unique Oriental characteristics of ancient-style music and the culture behind it. On this basis, it puts forward development suggestions that are in line with the times, provides new ideas for the rise of Chinese cultural self-confidence, and also opens up new horizons for the re-exploration of traditional culture.
