The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has revolutionized modern education, offering innovative solutions to long-standing challenges. This paper explores the transformative role of AI in education, focusing on its potential to enhance personalized learning, improve institutional efficiency, and promote accessibility. The study employs a multi-method research framework, including a systematic review of peer-reviewed literature (2010-2023), case studies of prominent AI implementations, and insights from education technology practitioners. The findings highlight the significant benefits of AI, such as adaptive learning systems and intelligent tutoring, while also addressing ethical concerns, implementation barriers, and potential negative impacts. The paper concludes with recommendations for future research and policy directions to ensure equitable and ethical AI integration in education.
