Abstract

With the in-depth development of technologies such as artificial intelligence, 5G, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things, mobile media will usher in a new period of accelerated development. Mobile internet has become the primary channel for news information release. Particularly, the application of digital AI technology in news production is pushing the entire news media industry towards an intelligent era. In order to clarify the current application status of digital AI technology in news production and promote its development, this paper introduces related concepts of digital AI technology and news production, analyzes typical applications during the news production process, summarizes advantages of digital AI technology in the field of news production, reflects on shortcomings that appear in the process of news production using digital AI technology, proposes corresponding strategies for these issues, and deeply forecasts future trends of digital AI technology application in news production. The introduction and use of digital AI technology is an inevitable trend for the future development of news production. Under the impact of digital AI technology, news production will undergo a disruptive change.
