Against the backdrop of the in-depth advancement of digital transformation in higher education, campus exhibitions in private colleges and universities have become an important carrier for carrying the cultural connotations of the campus, showcasing the school's distinctive features and achievements in talent cultivation, and also a key window for external communication and brand promotion. At present, most exhibitions of private colleges and universities still follow the traditional offline static mode, which generally has prominent problems such as monotonous and rigid display forms, lack of novelty in content presentation, insufficient integration of online and offline, and limited coverage of cultural dissemination. It is difficult to meet the development needs of the digital age. The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology provides a brand-new path and technical support for the innovation of exhibition models in private colleges and universities. Based on the educational positioning, unique characteristics and existing resource conditions of private colleges and universities, this article systematically analyzes the practical value of applying artificial intelligence to digital exhibitions in colleges and universities, sorts out the shortcomings and deficiencies of traditional exhibition models, and constructs implementation paths and optimization strategies for AI digital exhibitions that are suitable for the actual situation of private colleges and universities from multiple dimensions such as intelligent curation, content innovation, all-domain dissemination and operation and maintenance management.
