Abstract

A new wave of digital intelligence technology drives the deep change of higher engineering education, and technologies such as generative artificial intelligence, knowledge map, and virtual simulation provide a new path for mechanical course reform. The local application-oriented college mechanical course has long been difficult to understand the principles of abstraction, the organizational structure is difficult to be visually displayed, the engineering design lacks the real verification scene, and the evaluation method focuses on the final examination and other realistic pain points. Taking the provincial first-class undergraduate course Mechanical Principles and Design as the research carrier, combined with structuralism and situation learning theory, this paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the digital intelligence teaching reform of mechanical courses, sticks to the student-centered, output-oriented concept, and carries out the teaching reform practice from the aspects of teaching content reconstruction, digital intelligence teaching space construction, industry-teaching integration resources development, intelligent multiple evaluation system construction, etc. The practice shows that integrating digital intelligence technology into the whole process of course teaching evaluation and management can effectively solve the traditional teaching problems of mechanical courses, improve students' digital design ability and complex engineering problem-solving ability, and provide a reproducible practice model for the transformation of digital intelligence of mechanical courses in local application-oriented universities.
