China was once a heavily affected area of schistosomiasis, with an epidemic history of more than 2000 years. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the incidence rate of schistosomiasis in China has significantly decreased after decades of continuous improvement of prevention and control methods and efforts of various parties. This paper summarizes the methods of schistosomiasis control in China, and hopes to provide some help for schistosomiasis control in the world.
