This paper analyzes the influence of the Internet on college students' autonomous learning ability through a questionnaire survey. It finds that students engage in online learning but their daily time investment is limited. The Internet provides rich learning resources but also brings challenges like distractions and lack of supervision. Social media notifications interfere with learning, while online communities have a positive impact. Strategies to enhance self-directed learning abilities are proposed.
