A Three-Dimensional Exploration of Enhancing Vocational College Counselors' Professional Literacy Against the Backdrop of New Quality Productive Forces

Abstract

With the introduction of the concept of new quality productive forces, new demands are placed on the professional competence of counselors. Higher vocational colleges focus on cultivating skilled professionals. As guides in students' educational management, growth, and talent development, the enhancement of counselors' professional competence is directly related to the cultivation of students' comprehensive qualities and the improvement of educational quality in higher vocational colleges. To address current issues such as counselors' weak professional knowledge structure, limited technical application capabilities; insufficient research literacy and innovation ability; ambiguous role positioning and unclear career development paths; and inadequate theoretical literacy, this article analyzes the enhancement of counselors' professional competence in higher vocational colleges under the background of new quality productive forces from three dimensions: value implication, practical dilemmas, and practical approaches.
