Abstract

With the development of information technology, short videos have gradually entered people's lives and profoundly influenced their production life and way of thinking. College students are the main participants and influencers of the short video community. Strengthening the cultural security awareness cultivation of this group is not only helpful for them not to be eroded by certain noisy environment of new media, but also helpful for them to establish correct cultural concepts and build a protective barrier for national security. Based on the research on the current situation of cultivating cultural security awareness among college students in the field of short video, this paper starts from improving the conditions of cultivating cultural security awareness among college students with the advantages of short video, analyzes the causes of the current situation in depth, and proposes the cultivation strategies such as strengthening technical construction, improving laws and regulations, strengthening supervision and social monitoring, and stimulating media self-discipline. It is expected that through the implementation of the above strategies, the cultivation effect of college students' cultural safety awareness in the short video domain will be further improved.
