Abstract

His piano compositions are broad in scope and numerous in number, each of which is characterized by its grandiose conception and variety of forms, and by the skillful fusion of difficult playing techniques and unique musical personality, which gives each piece a distinctive and vivid artistic image. In particular, his series of Concert Etudes is a treasure of virtuosity, not only in terms of virtuosity, but also in terms of musical expression. This article focuses on one of Liszt's Two Concert Etudes - The Wuthering of the Forest, which has been frequently performed on major concert stages and vividly demonstrates Liszt's deep desire for the beauty of nature and passion for life.
