In today's world, the economic, political, and cultural exchanges among countries are becoming increasingly close. The cultivation of cultural awareness has also become more important than ever. Textbooks, as carriers of language and culture, are an extremely important resource in junior high school English teaching. Therefore, the way cultural content is presented and the extent to which it is covered in textbooks will affect the cultivation of students' cultural awareness. The research object of this research is the junior high school English textbooks published by the People's Education Press. This research aims to analyze the teaching value of the cultural content in the People's Education Press junior high school English textbooks and the implementation paths of this cultural content for cultivating students' cultural awareness. This research is beneficial for teachers to reasonably utilize and process the cultural content in the textbooks, to scientifically cultivate students' cultural awareness, and to develop their cross-cultural communication abilities.
